Meet Tristen Goodwin, founder of LeadAI

Before founding LeadAI, I worked as a steel erector. Coming from the trades, I understand how demanding the working day can be—and how difficult it is to keep up with calls, enquiries and paperwork when you're focused on the job in front of you.

I knew there were everyday problems that better systems could help solve: missed enquiries, delayed follow-ups and admin eating into evenings. That practical understanding became the starting point for LeadAI.

After spending much of my working life away from home, I wanted to build a business of my own. I had long believed that AI would create opportunities, so I committed myself to researching and learning how to apply it. My focus became finding useful ways to help business owners save time and manage opportunities more effectively.

Today, through LeadAI, I work with trades, service businesses and recruitment agencies to connect websites, enquiry handling, customer management and automated follow-up around the way their teams work.

Based in Goole, East Yorkshire, I take a straightforward, hands-on approach: understand the business, identify where things are being missed or taking too much time, and build a practical solution. Clear communication, accountability and pride in the finished work are values I've carried from the steel industry into LeadAI.
